Shorter Schedule for Seniors

RHHS seniors (2024 cohort),

If you are working you can have your schedule shortened so that you can make it to work on time or receive more hours at your job site. Keep in mind that your schedule is shortened based on how many classes you need for graduation. If your paperwork is approved, you will have a conversation with your guidance counselor to determine what classes you will need to take next year. 

IF YOU ARE NOT WORKING, YOU CANNOT HAVE A SHORTENED SCHEDULE. You need to have a job or internship in order to qualify for a shorter program. If you are looking for job, we will be sending out information about internship and job opportunities shortly.

If you want to start the year off with a shorter schedule, you can submit your Work Based Learning Agreement form signed BEFORE the school year starts. 

Attached is the form that MUST be filled out by you, your parents/guardians, AND your manager from work. 

Once the agreement is completed, you can bring it to your Guidance Counselor (Ms. Fowler in room 125 or Ms. Leonardo in room 109) or bring it to Ms. Camacho in room 342.

If you don’t have access to a printer, you can come by the school to pick up a copy or to use the printers in the library. You also can use the printers at the Queens Public Library for free.
