INSTRUCTIONAL FOCUS

We will elevate teacher feedback, accelerate the implementation of our data-based and student-aligned instructional strategies to transform our instructional program.

By providing professional learning opportunities aligned to Regents’ skill gaps, we will build teacher capacity that incorporates the needs of diverse learners and differentiated instruction strategies to positively impact student achievement, increase opportunities for Advanced Regents diplomas and prepare for new graduation pathways. This will lead our students to fulfill their post-secondary goals.

VISION

The Richmond Hill High School community works to provide robust career-connected and authentic academic learning experiences designed to make students future ready. The student population will be exposed to cutting edge innovative specialty classrooms and Regents aligned instruction to meet the needs of our diverse student population, leading our students to take ownership of their educational process and develop a curiosity for lifelong learning and developing the literacy skills needed to excel across all subjects.

MISSION

Our mission is to promote young adults who are emotionally supported, goal-oriented, and academically prepared to face the challenges of the future and to contribute significantly to societal progress. Our students will continue to receive culturally-relevant instruction through multiple pathways leading towards a CTE endorsement and post-secondary success.
