About The Teacher

Hi everyone! I am Ms. Hassan. I am an ENL teacher. This is my second year teaching at Richmond Hill High School.  This year is going to be my sixth year teaching ENL students.  Teaching is my passion. My students and their families are very special and important to me, and I am always seeking the best ways to collaborate with others and serve them.  As an immigrant from India, I know the challenges of coming to a new country and learning new language.  I know the difficulties one experiences when being exposed to new cultures and meeting new people, but I also know that you can do it and I am here for you.  I am multilingual in Hindi, Bengali, Urdu and English. Besides teaching, I love to read good books, do painting, watch movies, listen to music, love taking  nature walks, and enjoy traveling with my family. It was my greatest achievement getting a graduate degree from Touro College.
